The House worth saving and the people that can do it!

It's being called "the big house that could" and we are referring to the historic home located at 6th and Chestnut. Recently the old home made it onto the City's list of buildings to be demolished. Colorado City native Lupe Gonzales and his wife Angie have purchased the house from Robert and Tyna Rowland of Snyder and are working hard to get it restored to it's former glory. The house was built sometime between 1901 and 1905 and the inside is in surpringly sound condition. Lupe says he has had his eye on the house for several years, but things never came together until just recently. Lupe and his wife Angie have 6 children and they are all looking forward to making this house their home! Robert and Tyna Rowland of Snyder are helping to fund the restoration and have complete faith in the Salazar's making the house a showplace.
