Loraine Fire Dept. thanks the Loraine Co-op Gin!
Loraine Fire Dept. Asst Chief,
Doyle (Shady) Mitchell presented the Loraine Co-Op Gin board with a certificate
of appreciation for their continued support of the Loraine Fire Dept.
The fire department has used the yard and facilities of the Co-Op Gin for
it’s annual Farm Auction for the past 24 years, with the exception of one year
due to an extended ginning season. Mitchell says, “The Co-Op Gin
goes to a lot of trouble and spends a lot of time getting the gin yard and
buildings ready for us to use. Although we say thank you it does
not convey the deep appreciation we feel for their help and support.
This is just an example of people working together to make our community
a safer and better place to
live.”
